
A Learjet 45XR business jet crashed near Baramati Airport in India. The aircraft, registered VT-SSK, went down during its approach to land.
There were five people on board, including a politician, two staff members, and two flight crew. Authorities confirmed that there were no survivors.
According to eyewitnesses, the jet was descending along the runway alignment but lost altitude approximately 100 feet short of the runway before impacting the ground.
